Who is StudiBuddi for?

High school learners in Grades 8 to 12. Parents and learners can sign up on their own: start a free week, and a parent pays for it when it ends. Schools can also get it for their classes, which adds the educator tools: class diagnostics, marking of whole class sets, a test builder, tutor transcripts and class analytics. See what schools get.

What do I get in the free week?

Everything a paying learner gets, for 7 days. Starting the trial takes a Google or Apple account, or an email address, and no card details.

What does it cost after that?

On the website: R199 for exam season (October to December, one payment), R149 a month, or R800 a year. In the app, the App Store or Google Play shows its own price before you pay. Monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel.

Who pays?

StudiBuddi is paid for by a parent or guardian. In the app, pay through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android. On the website, or from the link your child sends you, pay securely through Payfast.

Which subjects are there?

Grades 10 to 12: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Accounting, Business Studies, Geography and History, each with practice, marking and the tutor. Grades 8 and 9: Mathematics. Pick every subject you take when you sign up, and the rest switch on as they launch.

I write IEB. Does it work for me?

Choose DBE or IEB when you sign up. The work follows the CAPS curriculum, which both exam boards use.

Can I cancel?

Yes. A monthly or yearly plan bought on the website: cancel it on the Plans page. One bought in the app: cancel it in your iPhone or Android subscription settings, at least 24 hours before it renews. Either way it stops renewing, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. The exam season pass ends on 31 December and never renews.
